So here's the bonfire night strip. For those of you who don't really understand the whole concept I thought I'd attempt to explain it. As the strip states, on November 5th a huge load of gunpowder was discovered under the house of lords - the plan being to detonate it the next day during the King's address to parliament; thus killing the king AND the higher lords - Essentially leaving the country leaderless.
The man discovered with the gunpowder was a Catholic called Guy Fawkes - the government were protestant
Twats like to use those bloody Guy masks because of Anonymouse even though they don't understand that it's practically the same as wearing a Benedict Arnold mask.
It's not really a religious thing any more, much like Christmas- it's really more about fireworks and setting stuff on fire....kinda a mix between US 4th July and Halloween.
Tragically, it's that second holiday that's killing it. Yet another reason to hate Halloween. Fucken pagans.
